What's occurrin' then?
Another week down and more mini's painted. Looks like I'm on a roll.
As has become customary, I would like to present you all with some more zombie art. Another piece by the extremely talented Bryan Baugh. This piece is called Weeping Grave.
More business to attend to before we get to the fun stuff. The welcome wagon must once again be dragged out of storage, I have another follower. I would like to welcome my latest follower Sam Pate (aka ArabianKnight). So a big BZA welcome goes out to Sam. WELCOME SAM! Sam runs the Wee Blokes blog which you really should check out, it's very good. It even has a dedicated horror section, really cool.
So on with the show. I managed a few more survivors this week, again all from the Wargames Factory Apocalypse Survivors : The Men.
All these were put together as per the box pictures, so no surprises or anything out of the ordinary.
No fancy conversions or kitbashes yet, I'll save that for the second sprue. Although some of these poses maybe a little difficult to alter, I guess I'll just have to improvise.
Still haven't come up with any names or backstories yet, I guess these guys might just end up as generic survivors or even zombie bait... Who knows maybe some of them will make it to named "star" status, we'll have to wait and see.
That's all I've got for this time dudes and dudettes. So until next time try and follow the DUDE'S example and "take it easy".

LATEST SURVIVORS DESTINED TO DIE HORRIBLY. |

AS ALWAYS, I PAINT THE BACKS OF THEM. EVEN THE BUILDERS ARSE. |
That's all I've got for this time dudes and dudettes. So until next time try and follow the DUDE'S example and "take it easy".
Every time I see these survivors, I think to myself that I really need to invest! The work on the jeans and the shorts looks amazing Bob!
ReplyDeleteThanks Michael.
DeleteYou get 30 bodies for less than £15, can't go wrong really.I've just realised I didn't paint their belts, D'oh!
I agree if I see many more of this WGF survivors I'll be tempted to buy them.
DeleteNice work on the new survivors dude.
ReplyDeleteThanks Andre.
DeleteYours are providing great inspiration dude!
Those survivors are looking really nice, even if they are just going to be zombie chow....
ReplyDeleteThanks Chris.
DeleteI'd really like to get some Hasslefree and Studio metals for my stars, we'll see what develops.
Great job on these guys. The one on the right would make a good version of the dude (well fed version I might add)
ReplyDeleteThanks Simon.
DeleteYes he would, but I've already got the DUDE covered. Just need to paint him.
Some seriously nice looking minis there Bob. Great paint-jobs too. I especially like the Paul Hogan look-a-like with his two firing pieces. Looks like he's come straight out of his Seventies studio to take down some Aussie zeds.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bk.
DeleteLol, he does doesn't he. I think he just got a name!
They all look ready to kick zombie arse. Good work, Bob!
ReplyDeleteThanks Bryan.
DeleteZombies beware!
Nicely painted Dude
ReplyDeleteHere's one for you...
Q: Where do zombies eat dinner?
A: The LIVING room!
Thanks Roy.
DeleteHere's one for you... don't become a comedian!
:)) Lol.
DeleteI love what you've been doing with the WF survivors. I really hope they done die terribly as you predicted.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bf.
DeleteI'm sure they'll be fine........ or not.
Nice painting, love the figure with the builders bum!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ray.
DeletePleñty of real life inspiration for that round here!
These look exceptionally good Bob, great additions !
ReplyDeleteThanks Joe.
DeleteThey didn't turn out too bad in the end.
Great work there Bob!
ReplyDeleteThanks Robert.
DeleteGetting there slowly.
Those look really nice. I have some built and ready to paint on my painting queue. They fill the roll of encounter/ non star npcs really well and even as a star if you need to. When I start painting mine I will pop back here for inspiration.
ReplyDeleteThanks CW.
DeleteThey're great value for money and make great npcs. I'm glad to be able to inspire you dude!
Great work on the survivors Bob!
ReplyDeleteI tend to do the same with my survivor style figures. Name them but no further and see which earn the right to more than a name. Makes for a great back story.
Thanks Mike.
DeleteI quite agree, Hogan and the boys will have to earn their stripes and stories.
They are all great! And don't worry about kitbashing the ones that are hard to alter, it might not really be worth the effort :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Mathyoo.
DeleteKitbashing is great fun, besides I already have a couple of ideas including making a couple of zombies and unarmed civilians.
Omg ... Chuck Norris is a survivor? Tell me that's not Chuck Norris (survivor on the extreme left) ... I dare you. ;) Very nice work Bob! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks F.E.M.
DeleteSorry it's not Chuck Norris, it's Paul Hogan (Crocodile Dundee) Aussie comedian. Chuck's way tougher, doesn't need any weapons. In fact he's so tough when a zombie bites Chuck Norris, he doesn't turn into a zombie, the zombie turns into Chuck Norris ;)
Good job. Indeed wargames 's survivors are not very cool to make different poses. Love your new arts.
ReplyDeleteThanks Alex.
DeleteI'm sure a little hacking and slashing will sort out some new poses for the WGF survivors. Well, I'm going to try it anyway.
Glad you like the new art. (See I am reaching people).
