MORE SURVIVORS.

What's occurrin' then?
Another week down and more mini's painted. Looks like I'm on a roll.

As has become customary, I would like to present you all with some more zombie art. Another piece by the  extremely talented Bryan Baugh. This piece is called Weeping Grave.

WEEPING GRAVE.

More business to attend to before we get to the fun stuff. The welcome wagon must once again be dragged out of storage, I have another follower. I would like to welcome my latest follower Sam Pate (aka ArabianKnight). So a big BZA welcome goes out to Sam. WELCOME SAM! Sam runs the Wee Blokes blog which you really should check out, it's very good. It even has a dedicated horror section, really cool.

So on with the show. I managed a few more survivors this week, again all from the Wargames Factory Apocalypse Survivors : The Men.

LATEST SURVIVORS DESTINED TO DIE HORRIBLY.

All these were put together as per the box pictures, so no surprises or anything out of the ordinary.
No fancy conversions or kitbashes yet, I'll save that for the second sprue. Although some of these poses maybe a little difficult to alter, I guess I'll just have to improvise.

Still haven't come up with any names or backstories yet, I guess these guys might just end up as generic survivors or even zombie bait... Who knows maybe some of them will make it to named "star" status, we'll have to wait and see.

AS ALWAYS, I PAINT THE BACKS OF THEM. EVEN THE BUILDERS ARSE.

That's all I've got for this time dudes and dudettes. So until next time try and follow the DUDE'S example and "take it easy".

  5. Some seriously nice looking minis there Bob. Great paint-jobs too. I especially like the Paul Hogan look-a-like with his two firing pieces. Looks like he's come straight out of his Seventies studio to take down some Aussie zeds.

  11. Those look really nice. I have some built and ready to paint on my painting queue. They fill the roll of encounter/ non star npcs really well and even as a star if you need to. When I start painting mine I will pop back here for inspiration.

  12. Great work on the survivors Bob!
I tend to do the same with my survivor style figures. Name them but no further and see which earn the right to more than a name. Makes for a great back story.

I quite agree, Hogan and the boys will have to earn their stripes and stories.

  13. They are all great! And don't worry about kitbashing the ones that are hard to alter, it might not really be worth the effort :)

Kitbashing is great fun, besides I already have a couple of ideas including making a couple of zombies and unarmed civilians.

  14. Omg ... Chuck Norris is a survivor? Tell me that's not Chuck Norris (survivor on the extreme left) ... I dare you. ;) Very nice work Bob! :)

Sorry it's not Chuck Norris, it's Paul Hogan (Crocodile Dundee) Aussie comedian. Chuck's way tougher, doesn't need any weapons. In fact he's so tough when a zombie bites Chuck Norris, he doesn't turn into a zombie, the zombie turns into Chuck Norris ;)

  15. Good job. Indeed wargames 's survivors are not very cool to make different poses. Love your new arts.

I'm sure a little hacking and slashing will sort out some new poses for the WGF survivors. Well, I'm going to try it anyway.
Glad you like the new art. (See I am reaching people).
