YET MORE SURVIVORS.

What's occurrin' then?
Wow, another week flies by on time's arrow. Where the hell did January go?
Anyhow I managed to complete another few survivors.

Let's start with what has become customary, another great piece of zombie art. Once again this is by the very talented Bryan Baugh. This one is called Swamp Rot.

SWAMP ROT.

I'm having a little trouble with my blogger dashboard, it won't let me scroll up and down the screen. I can't even get to the view more button. Being such a techno-troll (the kind that lives under a bridge, not the kind that leaves abusive comments. Although some of you might not agree with that statement) I don't know how to fix it. So I'd like to take this oppurtunity to apologise for missing any of my regular blog visits lately. You know who you are!

Righty oh then, let's get on with the show and tell. As I mentioned earlier, I've finished a few more survivors. Once again these are from Wargames Factory Apocalypse Survivors : The Men.

We actually ventured out of the bunker today, to take these photo's in some natural light. I don't think it was quite the success I was hoping it would be. They seem a little dark, no pun intended.

THREE MORE SURVIVORS, TRYING TO STAY A STEP AHEAD OF THE ZOMBIES.

The dude in the suit kind of reminds me of a younger, clean shaven Roger Murtaugh. You know, Danny Glover's character from the Lethal Weapon movies. The fat guy has an arm from a Studio plastic zombie. Really not sure how suitable flip flops are as zom-poc footwear though.

I didn't want my crossbow dude to be another not-Daryl clone, so using the appropriate head and a suitable paint scheme, he isn't. I also tried to make a strap for his quiver, it's not lying quite right around the neck and shoulder area but it was superglued on so I couldn't change it. Never mind, better luck next time.

THE FAT GUY SHOULD BE IN PRISON FOR DEALING THAT MUCH CRACK.
LOOKS LIKE HE FORGOT TO WIPE TOO.

Right that's enough shite out of me, I've got a Superbowl to watch. So until next time, dudes and dudettes, do the right thing by following the DUDE'S example and "take it easy".

  1. Bob, what with your computer problems I'm very grateful for your visiting my blogs. Much appreciated my friend. Not that I want to appear in anyway a Paul Hogan-obsessive or anything but you just need to slap a piece of sun cream on flip flop guy and you have a bona-fide Arthur Dunger there :-)

It's ok if I catch them on screen, it's just when there's a lot of posts in one go and they slip past, they're gone and I can't get them back.
I think you could be a little bit of a Paul Hogan obsessive! Is your middle name "Crocodile"?

  2. Excellent survivors! I really like what your doing with the bases, especially the block one. Far too many of us put all of our people out in the grass.

The block one is just squares of card glued on and painted. I just thought a lot of the games are in either urban or suburban enviroments and the bases should reflect that.

  3. A very mixed bag you have there, Bob. Can I just say that flip-flops are NEVER a good idea, no matter what the circumstances and especially NOT in a zombie apocalypse. If you're looking for a name for him call him "Arsewipe!"

I can't say I'm a big flip-flop fan either. That is a stroke of genius Dude! Arsewipe Dunger it is.

Not the best zombie hunting footwear though.

  5. Best bit of art yet!

I don't use the blogger panel thingy. Too unreliable I found. That's why I've the blog rolls on the bottom of my page to check who's updated. I'm not a follower of 90% of them, but I find it a lot easier than the other way.

Top work on the painting - you've given them loads of character.

  6. More lovely survivors. I love his art style he has done some great pieces.

If you goto https://www.blogger.com/home it should have all the blogs you follow under that reading list bit. I find it far more reliable for blog browsing than the blog rolls.

  7. Great stuff, Bob. The shading and highlights on crossbow-guy's fatigue pants are especially well done.

Enjoy the Superbowl. (Don't enjoy it too much though. Rumor has it your son's a Pats fan.)

  9. GGreat take on the Wargame factory surivors, the first guy reminded me of 'Tubbs' from Miami Vice (the original).
Like you I too get frustrated by Blogger (and most all other things blog related), so you're not alone.

I see where your coming from. Have you seen the Daytona Duo from Studio mini's, now that's Crockett and Tubbs dude.
Blogger can be a twitchy beast at times, glad it's not just me.

  10. They look good Bob and I possibly Joe as well am surprised I haven't seen a Crockett & Tubbs from this plastic set. I will say making straps on miniatures is trickier than it would seem.

I think the suits in this set are better suited (sic) to Government types. Straps are a pain in the arse but I'm not giving up just yet.
