MORE HOT CHICKS AND THE DUDE

ALL LOOKING A LITTLE BLUE.

A BUNCH OF ARSE.
Still plugging away at these bloody vixens, there seems to be no end in sight. Hundreds, no thousands of them, well at least 30. How many is a horde anyway?
Enough moaning from me and on with the introductions.
Left to Right: Firstly we have Matron Mandy, who should stop chewing her fingernails (and fingers). Next up is the gorgeous Arianwyn, who nose what she's been up to. Following her is Bronwyn, another keep fit enthusiast, not that it did her any good. Last up is amateur road swimmer Dilys, she was in training for the world championship, not any more.
Started putting together some of the Studio plastic zombies kindly sent to me by the LEGEND that is VAMPIFAN, thanks once again Bryan. Nice details on them, but they seem quite small even compared to WGF zombies, so I'm going to base them on 25mm plastic bases which should raise them enough and bring them out of the shortarse club.

Remember, the DUDE says "take it easy"

  1. Great work as usual Bob, I really like the first three especially, as they got nice contrast to skin and clothes (not that I am usually aware of those things :D). Last one is a bit odd, but that must be the position. Some of the Vixens are just weird, tbh.

And seems I just got to ask, who is the "DUDE"? :D

    1. Thanks Mathyoo
I found it really hard to pick colours for girls, so had to ask my wife for advice. The last one was an attempted conversion/legbend on one of the bikini torsos.

The DUDE is a character from a film called "The Big Lebowski".You should check it out, the DUDE has a kinda philosophy for life.

  2. I haven't built many (just 1 so far) of the vixens, these look good! I am looking forward to building and painting some myself.

From what I have seen, they seem to be a better set than the original zombie horde, what do you think?

The vixens are a little better than the original zombie horde, they are still a little soft but I found that a wash brings out most of the details. Looking forward to seeing some of yours.
      Cheers Bob

  3. More zombie goodness, Bob. I like them all, although i must agree with Mathyoo that the green-skinned lass is in a strange pose.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with your Studio Minis plastics. Also, I'd love to see how you tackle your Zombicide figures. I look at my own Zombicide figures and despair at the amount I have to paint, although to be fair, I have made a decent start on them.

The green-skinned "lass" is a strange pose, not all my experiments work out.
I'm trying to be really disciplined and finish these vixens before moving on to the Studio Minis. Every time I open my Zombicide box I start to weep at the amount yet to be done, they will probably get started after the Studio Minis. My own little plastic mountain.

  4. All good additions, but you haven't convinced me about the merits of the green ones, yet; though I do see a use for distinguishng any "special" zombies.

    1. The merits of the green ones is that I like them, I don't see why zombies have to be certain colours, I thought that decay came in a range of hues (green being one of them) so my zombies will be painted in a variety of colours.
Besides that everybody is entitled to their own opinion. They just don't have to be all same opinion.

  7. Just found this! Loving the horde so far, these girls look nasty, the handbag over the arm is genius :) Really like the themed basing too, adds loads of flavour. Gender balancing is a tricky one with zeds, the WGF Vixens are all (intentionally obviously) vanilla 'chicks', some 'real' women would be nice too. Looking forward to the next batch :)
